LISA A. BARTERA, ESQ.
Lisa A. Bartera, Esq., joined Santanasto Law in January of 2016 with practice areas including: trust and estate planning, trust and estate administration, Orphans’ Court and adoptions. Lisa also serves as a court-appointed guardian of the estate of incapacitated persons and minors, and for minors in termination of parental rights hearings in Lehigh County.
Lisa grew up on a farm in Lehigh County and graduated from Emmaus High School in 1991. She graduated cum laude from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 and received her Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 1998. Following a judicial clerkship to the Honorable John F. Cherry, she served as a Deputy District Attorney in Dauphin County for five years where she was assigned to the child abuse unit. In 2006, Lisa returned to the Lehigh Valley and served as a Deputy Solicitor for Lehigh County Office of Children and Youth Services. In 2011, Lisa joined The Roth Law Firm in Allentown, PA, where she engaged in general civil practice with a focus on guardian proceedings, estate and trust administration, estate planning, adoptions, real estate, and leasing.
Lisa and her husband Dave returned to Emmaus to build a home and raise a family. Lisa teaches Sunday School and serves on several committees at her church. She is currently a member of the Lehigh County Child Fatality/Near Fatality Review Team and previously served as a Board Member of the Pennsylvania Court Appointed Special Advocate program, member of the Friends of the Children’s Resource Center committee, member of the Venture Club of Harrisburg East, Board Member for the Venture Clubs of the North Atlantic Region, and participant in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program of the Harrisburg Region.
