Amanda Bernier, ESQ.

Amanda Bernier attended the State University of New York at Geneseo where she graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. Prior to attending law school, she completed a term of service with the AmeriCorps working with low-income homeowners in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2014.

Following graduation, Amanda accepted a position at Stover, McGlaughlin, Gerace, Weyandt & McCormick, P.C., a general practice firm in State College, Pennsylvania.  While living in State College, she served on her township’s Planning Commission for three years. In January 2018, she joined the staff of the Centre County District Attorney’s Office, where she practiced until moving to Northampton County. She currently holds a part-time position with the Northampton County Office of the Public Defender.

Amanda is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
